Dr. Robert C. Whorf is a board-certified hematologist/medical oncologist who has practiced with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Bradenton since 2004. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, pursued graduate neuroscience study at Harvard, completed his residency at Rochester, and finished a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Yale-New Haven Medical Center. His clinical work spans the full range of adult cancers and blood disorders, with documented experience in lung cancer, breast cancer (including Paget disease of the breast), and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and he is active in clinical research as a co-author on peer-reviewed studies.
