Don’t take our word for it — confirm Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute’s credentials and dig into the specialty yourself.
The Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute is Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's comprehensive, hospital-based cancer program rather than an individual physician, anchored by a multi-story Oncology Tower in Sarasota and the new Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion. It provides the full continuum of cancer care including screening, diagnostics, surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and survivorship support across a broad range of malignancies such as gastrointestinal, breast, lung, gynecologic, and urologic/genitourinary cancers. The Institute is built around a collaborative tumor-board model in which surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, oncology nurse navigators, pharmacists, and supportive-care staff coordinate each patient's diagnosis and treatment plan, often allowing patients to see multiple specialists in a single visit. It also offers integrative and supportive services such as counseling, support groups, acupuncture, and massage therapy. A multi-phase expansion underway through 2025-2026 is significantly enlarging outpatient cancer capacity, making it one of the largest cancer programs in the Sarasota-Bradenton region.
