Dr. Priya M. Mathews, MD, MPH is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cataract, LASIK, and corneal surgeon at Center For Sight, practicing across its Venice, Sarasota, and University Park offices. She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Public Health (epidemiology and biostatistics) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, completed her ophthalmology residency at the Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia University Medical Center, and finished a Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.
