Dr. J. David Holcomb is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon (American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery) who has practiced in Sarasota since 2000. He completed his surgical internship and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, followed by an AAFPRS fellowship in advanced cosmetic facial plastic surgery. His practice centers on cosmetic surgery of the face, neck and nose, including facelift, rhinoplasty, brow lift and eyelid surgery, and he is especially recognized for laser and energy-based work, including erbium YAG and fiber laser skin resurfacing and plasma-based skin rejuvenation integrated with surgical facial rejuvenation. In 2014 he co-founded Holcomb-Kreithen Plastic Surgery & Med Spa with board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Joshua Kreithen, which has grown into one of Florida's larger plastic surgery practices with locations in Sarasota and Bradenton.
