Misch Implant & Aesthetic Dentistry is a Sarasota practice led by Dr. Craig M. Misch, an unusually highly credentialed implant clinician who is board-certified in both oral and maxillofacial surgery (American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) and implant dentistry (American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry) and is also a trained prosthodontist. He earned his DDS from the University of Michigan (1985, top 5%), a prosthodontics certificate and a fellowship in oral implantology with a Master of Dental Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and then completed oral and maxillofacial surgery training, making him one of relatively few clinicians able to both surgically place and prosthetically restore implants. A clinical associate professor who teaches at several dental schools and an internationally published author and lecturer on bone grafting and osseointegration, Dr. Misch is widely regarded as a thought leader in implant dentistry.
