Don’t take our word for it — confirm Dr. David Freeman’s credentials and dig into the specialty yourself.
Freeman Orthodontics is a Sarasota orthodontic practice (2050 Proctor Rd) led by Dr. David H. Freeman, DMD, a Southwest Florida native who is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He holds a B.S. from Emory University, earned his dental degree with High Honors from the University of Florida, and completed a three-year orthodontic residency plus a Master of Science at The Ohio State University. He became board certified in 2010 and recertified in 2020, and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Beyond routine braces and clear aligner treatment for children, teens, and adults, Dr. Freeman has a meaningful craniofacial focus: he serves on the Sarasota County Cleft Lip and Palate Team and is a board member of FACE of Sarasota, a nonprofit for craniofacial disorders. He joined the longstanding local practice of Dr. David Winkler in 2004 and continues it today. The practice is orthodontics-only and recognized locally (SRQ Best of awards), treating standard malocclusions as well as more complex craniofacial cases.
