About Dr. Mitchell Edlund

Dr. Mitchell R. Edlund, DDS, MS is a board-certified endodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics who leads Sarasota Endodontic Solutions alongside Dr. Tyler Dolphin. He completed a one-year endodontic research fellowship at the University of Florida focused on cone-beam CT technology before being accepted into the university's endodontic residency, where the faculty selected him as chief resident of his class; during dental school he also completed a study-abroad program at the University of Malmö, Sweden. His years of prior general and restorative dentistry inform his approach to challenging cases. Clinically he specializes in both microscopic and microsurgical root canal treatment, including retreatment of failed prior root canals.
