SkinSmart Dermatology was founded in 2005 by Dr. Elizabeth F. Callahan, a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. She trained in dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she served as chief resident, and completed a fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery, Cosmetics, and Mohs Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery, and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine. The practice pairs medical and Mohs surgical dermatology with a substantial cosmetic and aesthetic program through its affiliated Skin Fitness Center, including Botox, injectable fillers, laser skin resurfacing, IPL photofacials, CoolSculpting body contouring, Ultherapy skin tightening, and cosmetic surgery such as blepharoplasty. The Sarasota office is located on N. Honore Ave.
