Dr. Joseph E. Chebli, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a high-volume metabolic and bariatric surgeon and founder of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery of Florida, with offices in Venice, Lakeland, and Brandon, FL. He became board certified in surgery in 2002 (recertified 2013) and earned a Focused Practice Designation in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery from the American Board of Surgery in 2023, in addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (2004) and a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (2015).
