Hess Orthodontics is a multi-location specialty orthodontic group whose Sarasota office sits on Honore Avenue near UTC. Founder Dr. Michael A. Hess, DMD, MS graduated as valedictorian from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2001 and earned his master's degree in orthodontics from the University of Michigan, and he practices alongside additional orthodontists including Dr. Paiyal Popat, Dr. Matthew Baker, and Dr. Rey. The practice limits itself to orthodontics, providing braces and Invisalign and clear-aligner treatment for children, teens, and adults, with an emphasis on a comfortable, welcoming patient environment. As a regional group it operates six Florida locations spanning Riverview, Lithia, Apollo Beach, Parrish, Sarasota, and Winter Haven, giving it broader scale than a single-office practice. The Sarasota office offers complimentary new-patient exams.
